HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FLOWERS

Full Sun
If your chosen planter display area receives a great or direct amount of sunlight and minimal shade, you will want to select a planter with full sun plants in order for it to thrive. The best way to care for full sun planters or hanging baskets is to water them daily until the water seeps out of the bottom of the pot or basket, making sure to soak the leaves as well. You can also use miracle grow or other type of fertilizer up to three times weekly to help your flowers blossom and bloom. You will need to remove the dead blooms in order to help the plant rejuvinate itself. For geraniums, break the dead flower off at the base of the stem near the dirt and another stem will grow up to replace it. For all other flowers, simply remove the dead bloom.
Part Sun
If your chosen planter display area recieves a moderate amount of sunlight and shade, you will want to select a planter with part sun plants in order for it to thrive. The best way to care for part sun planters or hanging baskets is to water them daily until the water seeps out of the bottom of the pot or basket, making sure to soak the leaves as well. You can also use miracle grow or other type of fertilizer up to three times weekly to help your flowers blossom and bloom. Shade
If your chosen planter display area receives minimal to no sunlight, you will want to select a planter with shade plants in order for it to thrive. The best way to care for shade planters or hanging baskets is to water them every other day until the water seeps out of the bottom of the pot or basket, making sure to soak the leaves as well. Because the flowers aren't receiving as much scorching sunlight, they require less water. You can also use miracle grow or other type of fertilizer up to three times weekly to help your flowers blossom and bloom. There is very little dead heading needed for shade plants but occasionally you can go through and remove any dead blooms.
